If you are a fan of superhero movies, then you’ve certainly been going crazy over the output of films over the last two decades. So many different super movies have come onto the scene that for the rest of us who may not be such huge fans, there might be a bit of exhaustion with the whole “super” thing. Then again, fans of these characters have been waiting around for a long time to see their beloved storylines hit the big screen, and they just can’t get enough. หนังออนไลน์ล่าสุด
Guess what? There’s still more to come.
As with any kind of massive success in Hollywood, superhero movies have been able to bring in a ton of money for many years now, which means that spin-offs and extensions of various universes are just par for the course at this point. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t some actually great movies in the pipeline, though. Herein lies the fine-line that movie studios walk when churning out films like this, especially with the heavy-hitters that were just out in recent years. Take Avengers: Endgame, for example. In many ways, the length of the movie, the deaths of certain characters, and the finality of the Avengers franchise made it seem as though an entire comic universe could almost be put to bed. To now be seeing characters in their own movies & trying to see how these standalone films fit into a timeline is not only exhausting, but it feels unnecessary.
Still, the fans are also quick to stand behind their favorite characters and want more. This, of course, drives studios to make more films. No matter your feelings, though, it’s the idea of having superhuman powers & the notion of the impossible that makes superhero movies so popular.
With that, here are five superhero movies we cannot wait to see:
The New Mutants ⏤ The release date of this movie has been moved around a bit on this one, and while the red-tape is hard to figure out on the business side of things, the film is said to be really something to behold.
Joker ⏤ Perhaps the most human portrayal of The Joker to date, which makes the result even more unsettling. While some of given high praise for the movie, others have called it a masterpiece.
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) ⏤ Harley Quinn is one of the more intriguing characters from Suicide Squad that has a connection to the Birds of Prey comic property, which goes back over twenty years & is an all-female force to be reckoned with.
Black Widow ⏤ If you watched Avengers: Endgame and are still not over things, you need to see Black Widow do her thing on screen again.
Wonder Woman 1984 ⏤ The first film was amazing, so it makes sense that another film was on its way. The second film is set against the Cold War with few other details known. Anticipation is high on this one.
Superhero movies are a lot of fun, and while they may get a bit of a bad rap from folks that are a little over the saturation of the film market by these films, it’s important to keep in mind that part of the allure that these characters have had as comics is that the characters connect with people in very human ways. They are flawed, broken, and feel they are on the outside looking in. That’s not much different than how much most people feel at time when they’re a little down & out. So, instead of being down on super movies, see them more as a reflection of the world at large. Kinda deep, huh?
